About Us

One of our goals is to provide resident centered care. Most importantly we combine kindness and compassion to deliver superior care. That is to say we provide a nurturing environment, and as a result promote individuality and independence. Therefore our residents experience an improved quality of life.

Golden Good Shepherd Home is each resident’s home.  Our staff are trained with the belief that they are guests in the resident’s home. We believe in providing individualized care and promoting dignity. To ensure each resident feels respected, valued, and cared for we maintain clear and proactive communication with both our resident’s and their families.

We are a non-profit organization that is overseen by a Board of Directors. This board is comprised of volunteers from the churches of Golden and Elm Grove. The Board of Directors meets monthly at the facility. At that time the Administrator and Director of Nursing provide up to date information in regards to census, staffing or any building and grounds concerns. Additionally Golden Good Shepherd Home hosts an annual Board Meeting inviting resident’s, families, staff and community members to attend. We believe this encourages community support, and involvement.
